.. seriously not my intention at all...

I joked that my machine blue-screened on me, to emphasise the strain this little cmd file takez.. hoped nobody ran it whilst working on anything important..

I have attached my actual run resultz to this post... reran it this morning juts to be certain of the resultz compared to yourz [altho I was late to ``Press any key to continue`` part, as I was making a pit-stop :p]

On Windowz 7, with no errorz as well, I seem to be a tad bit faster on the starting of 2500 notepad proceses, and killing `em all would have been under 40 seconds [pit-stop delayed]...

Even tho I have customized / tuned my Windowz 7, I really did not expect the i7 Core to be slower in the creation of the notepad processes at all ...

Eager to see what Fox1`z resultz are...

lol... well, that should only make a difference in the closing of the notepad processes time... the creation time is kinda strange...

Could you try with a selective / diag. start-up [start > Run > msconfig >> etc etc etc] ??
