Default Cooler Master 840 and Cooler Master 600W Silent Pro PSU Combo.

    Introduction
With all the Tower Chassis and PSU’s available today it can be a mission finding the right one that suites your lifestyle and does your hardware justice. I have had many excellent chassis, from back in the days, Thermaltake before they decided to rather build cheaper chassis for a bigger marker. I ever since moved over to Cooler Master, their vast array of superb equipment is beyond expectation. With every new design they somehow lead the market with innovation. I believe their engineering department is a solid team at the moment.

Today we will be looking at a chassis which just stuck on me as the best chassis ever made. We will be looking at the Cooler Master 840 and an appropriate Cooler Master PSU to power this industrial looking beast.

    The Lovable Sight
At first glance the excellent build quality astounds, this is indeed a welder casing for your precious hardware. It is well rounded in every aspect. It has two massive 230mm fans at the back one 230mm in the front. Its grid like top is for extreme ventilation. It has no fancy buttons or gadgets just hard core industrial elements. It does not have a stupid front door that’s always in the way, the USB’s and front ports are out of the way until needed, located at the top of the chassis with a flip open trigger to move the whole front panel control out of the case.

This rigid chassis is strong enough to transport explosives in. We loved every bit of it.

This is where many chassis fail, as soon as you start to build a pc with it you realize what is wrong with it and where they could have improved. Well with the 840 this was not the case, it makes constructing your pc easy and there is so much space inside that your components is set free to breath. It is not screw less, but this fits its industrial style. With the lovely space inside, it is possible to build the system to look neat and its cable management helps allot. We could really find nothing wrong while building it, giving the feeling that you are actually doing a good job because everything fits so well together.

    Cooler Master 600M Silent Pro
What is a chassis without power, for this we combined it with the Cooler Master 600W Silent Pro M series which is a good overall performer even with a graphics card like a 285GTX. People tend to overpower their machines, you would be amazed at just how well a proper 600W can handle anything you throw at it. The two works great together, the soft flexible managed cables that comes with the Cooler Master Silent Pro series is beautiful combining it with the cable management of the 840.

Just like the 840 Chassis the Cooler Master 600M is of exceptional quality, it is highly efficient and its power management is brilliant.

    Great review dude!

I really like my Cooler Master 690 and am pleasently surprised that the dust hasn't blocked my vents yet since it's got a few airflow fan vents.

Down side to the CoolerMaster 690 is that there were no screws for the motherboard.

EISH! I left those screws there thinking they were needed there. That'll teach me for not reading the manual.
