I'd actually prefer to keep the LANs separate, bud. As so often happens there's usually a person or three who don't show up which could then make the LAN rather boring for the non-TQ players.
I don't have a problem hosting 2 LANs - the TQ LAN on the 7th August and let's say the full PcBg LAN on the 21st August.
It's a bit of a bummer being limited to 6 players, I really thought it allowed 8 - my apologies.
As fond as I am of TQ, I would be severely tempted to join in Split/Second and other games if they were being played at the same time.

I've been looking at some of my character stats and noticed that it takes about a day and a half to complete the normal run through TQ and IM. This means that we would not be able to finish it in one session (unless there are new drugs that I am unaware of). Unless we coordinate our sleeping we will soon be out of step with each other.
Perhaps it would be simpler to just play as much as we can in a single balls to the wall session to see how far we get ? Whatcha guys think ?

I'll keep the LAN arrangements to you guys. I'm not bothered whether or not
there's a 2-in-1 going on. But if UT, GRID or CS gets play time, I'll also be very
tempted to join But I'll keep to my promise and play TQ with hate in my mind
and probably end up killing our team.

Another idea is that we can continue our DiSSadventure on another weekend and
so forth, until we've finished the whole game. We could also attempt an online session
to finish the game as well. That will require reliable DSL, and a few free nights / weekend(s).

I think so that the arrangements and numbers are 100%, I will sit out a TQ MP session. If the LAN does end up being split, then I will attend. I'm always keen to further my Borderlands career and Tabera and I will soon be tackling General Knoxx (I have some catching up to do this weekend).

Otherwise Split/Second, UT3 and the usual suspects will be grand.

Alrighty. I won't be able to join over the long weekend, nor the weekend of the 27th / 28th / 29th (parental birthday).

    ~Sigh~

But maybe [and hopefully] another weekend of possibilities will open up

Eh, no. Once I didn't show up cos' we were hectically busy (fixing my car),
and at least this time I'm letting you all know beforehand.

And, we're at the Vaal Dam building a house almost every weekend, so I'm kinda limited to free time.

Right - so is this going to be happening or should we leave it for another time ?

So far I've not found anyone willing or able to attend. What about the peeps on the forum ?

Agreed, bud. Still an awesome idea, though. It will probably come together by chance (hopefully in the not too distant future). In the meantime I'll be introducing as many peeps as I can to TQ to get some more peeps excited about this game to try and get the numbers up.
