I've been looking at innumerable amounts of different options for a website with shopping cart, blog, forums, etc.

And I definitely second what Buddha has said. Even before I read his post, my final 2 contenders have been between osCommerce and Joomla + Virtuemart.

As a side-note, should anyone be considering Magento, please make note, that at this stage, you will require dedicated hosting to run it and that's really a big load of money each month .

One well done site that's used it in SA (the only one I know of so far) is: www.supplementworld.co.za .
Customer service is our credo: http://www.wootware.co.za/

To add to this thread, I have been using and I must say that it is one of the most brilliant piece of software that i have used.

Joomla is extremely powerful and very easy to use. It was as easy as me right clicking->run in execute mode and it was done and that was on LINUX which I am a complete noob at.

Joomla is also very customizable if you have a good knowledge of CSS, I have been thoroughly impressed by the Package and will continue to play around to see all the things it can do.
