Yeah, sorry about that. This forum just got a bit tooLong time no see.
inactive at one point and then I kind of visited less
and less frequently. Still, it's one of the best local
online-communities and I just had to come back!

Most of my time went into figuring out how to get my custom models
and textures into the game. “Teaching myself” applications such
as XSI also ate away at the time. I have tutorials and stuff but
they're usually kind of vague. So, you still have to do a fair bit of
tinkering yourself. Also, my brother and I recently bought a Xbox360*
(and Gears of War! It's awesome, especially co-op) which makes
working really difficult and also eats away at the time.

Maybe consider 3D/Pic modeling as a career?

Um, yeah, I already am -- well, mapping/level design actually
and game art in general, such as creating textures and prop
models, etcetera. I want to work at Valve someday.
