Hi

I am looking for  good course(s) on web design. I am a java developer and have not focused on front end web stuff for a long time. I would like to brush up my 10 year old skill set. What I would like to cover:
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • javascript
  • Jquery
  • less
  • browser compatibility issues
  • mobiles site compatibitlity
  • good grounding in usability
  • basic phtotshop or equivalent
  • recommended toolsets

I would prefer courses that I can attend  but please feel free to provide links to any online resources or course  ... free or not free.  I'm hoping that someone can point me in the right direction. I don't want to attend any of the basic courses that are provided by so many of the companies locally. Especially where the presenter has no real word experience. Please also recommend anything that I have missed.

for now  Im gonna look at these:

Maybe add some php to that list?

I am currently doing a course which one of the subjects is covering html/javascript/css/php/asp.net etc. But unfortunately it's a full course and I am 3rd year now, so I cannot help you out. :(

Nope. :) Been studying for the past 4 years. Great fun!

@ eboo, I think you should add asp.net and c# (or VB, but who cares for that language if you can use c#) to the list.
