Seeing as I'm BBB (Bored Beyond Believe, my work is all done and I refuse to help the other ppl in the office who do nothing at all, all day long besides play solitaire and go for smoking breaks) at work, I am busy watching Dogma (for the millionth time). Awesome movie! I am in the first half of the movie where Loki and his buddy go on a killing spree on the Mooby The Golden Calf boardmembers.

That piece of movie must rate as one of my all time funniest pieces ever.

Loki yelling "Dont run! Dont run! Pigs, pigs, pigs all you, pigs! Oh and you....." the whole time as he massacres (shooting them with a dessert eagle I think) the whole lot except for the lady who he wants to shoot cuz she didnt say bless you when he sneezed. You dont see him shooting anybody but just using your imagination and seeing him going ape on them...lololololol.

oh and Bob pwns!
Well, if you'll excuse me, I have a movie to watch. So much for my first blog entry.

So, last week I started playing quake 1 again, deathmatch against omni bots. At first, after not having played the game for a long time, the controls and movement felt a little awkward. But after a match or two, it felt normal, like that saying goes, like riding a bike. :D:cheerful:

I miss the old days of quake, joining the netactive or global servers, joining for the first time and wondering what ping = 999 meant. Didn't bother me much tho for the first few match, I mean, it was my first ever time on an online server, ran around lobbing grenades and firing really laggy rockets.

Reapers, omni, teamfortress, ctf, Dissolution of Eternity, Scourge of Armagon, LAN's that seemed endless... gimme a freaken time machine! ;)

Got myself a new car, first one too...meh, been a long time coming.

Its the best new one I could get for my linited budget, my mind went along the lines of 'get something new, not someone else's trouble'

Wanted to go for a VW Golf 1,4i but they are grossly overpriced, the Corsa with a Sony mp3 player, Anti Smash and Grab and Alarm system came to about the same as a default 1.4i Citi would have cost with NOTHING EXTRA. So I'm very happy.

So, I proudly show my Corse Lite 1.4i (Magnum Blue)

Damn, I never get tired of art from Luis Royo. This guys does thee most awesome fantasy art I have ever seen. Found some new ones, these are low res samples (made them smaller to load quicker and hosted on imageshack). For higher quality go to Fantaysia.com You'll have to register but its quick, easy and well worth it.

I used to see a lot of Boris Vallejo's pictures when I was younger!
Fantasy art usually with a half naked woman!
I loved it!

I suppose it's just not the same to check out braille images through a mass of hair on one's palms ! :)

Nope
When I saw the name "Boris" I remmembered things I'd almost forgotten!
Places like Cardies used to have posters for sale and that is where I first saw his art.

Nah, Frazetta > Royo IMO. :)

Other good artists...

I love the browns and reds
(grungy and rusty)
of Frazetta and Brom's art.

I'd go with FEAR first, cos the original was so short (I finished it in less than 12hrs). This will probably also not take up more than a few days and then you get to enjoy NWN2 at your leisure.

I have to agree with Flarkit - get FEAR out of the way so that you can embark on the long journey that is Never Winter Nights. FEAR was a bit of a let down in terms of length, but it sure packed a punch.

I still have to get my grubby paws on both of these titles, but first I have to kill Battle for Middle Earth 2, Caesar 4, Company of Heroes, Need for Speed Carbon ...

Why does work always have to get priority over gaming ? It sucks !!! :)

@VF : have you played Titan Quest yet ? Not the greatest game ever, but worth the time never the less.
