What about marking all forums as read?  Specially for those who don't want to read topic titles that doesn't interest them.

I am also missing something here - subscription threads or something like that...

You can mark forums read on the bottom-left of the page.

What about like when we had the old VB, we could always have the option of newest post first, not the oldest?  Sorry I'm seriously being a noob here with the new layout, seeing I don't spend a lot of time here, fiddling there and then.

I saw there was a profile customization option to change background colour - I chose the colour but I don't see it after saving that option.  What is it for actually?  Maybe you could create a walk-through and explain what is what... LOL

I want to suggest something that the other forums are using.  Restrict signatures for new members who sign up - I've seen some new members sign up with maybe 2 posts and put a advertising link in their signatures, which usually mean they're just here for spamming / advertising.  If a new member is geniune in getting involved with the community here, they will post more often and get their signatures after a certain number of posts.

EDIT:  Found the problem with the profile picture...  It seems that gravatars come from wordpress profile pictures.  I had to go and change mine - didn't know it was still there...
