I am sure there are many of us here that are very familiar with photoshop. So I think a little photoshop competition would be quite fun and interesting Besides, the photography section seems quite outdated. Since this is a new idea, please let me know what you guys think before we actually do this competition.

Information:

What to do?
Create/edit/remake a picture on photoshop however you like based on the theme and text given.

Why do it?
It's fun and interesting to see what the PcBg community comes up with, plus it's great practice for those digital artists.

Prizes?
None (Hopefully their will be if the photoshop competitions are successful) however the winner can work on some graphic design with me on GameByte if he/she so wishes to do so.

How do I win?
After all the entries are received, their will be a voting between the users of the PcBg community and the entry with the most votes wins the competition.

THEME: Gaming

1. Any entries with pictures that have not been edited and directly sourced from the internet will not qualify.
2. All entries are copyright of their respective owners and require permission to be externally edited or used.

Aaaah the noobies of PcBg.

There used to be a competition like this, it went on for quite a while, but died out. Was called "Photoshop the hell out of this", ruach used to run it if I'm not mistaken. It was a bit different though. You would get a picture and then photoshop it in any way that you would like. Close to the end of the month you would vote for a winner, and he/she would win a bog 'o sand. Which was an other way of saying nothing. Lol.

Anyway, I hope this pics up. It's always been funny to look at the posts!

Thanks for the info Zizzy, It's a shame "photoshop the hell out of this" died out, would be cool if ruach and I make a new photoshop thing and run it together, we could create a window of opportunity possibly but anyways I hope it also picks up man

Yeah it would be pretty cool if we could get this going again. Haven't seen Ruach online in quite some time though..

Yeah I also noticed a lot of dead links. I would like to know what happen to the PCBG frontpage, where there was sponsers advertisements and all? Maybe TitanKing is working on a new one?

Anyway, I think it would be great if we could do this. If ruach hasn't been online in awhile then someone else can help who is also good with photoshop or just wants to help for the sake of it

I also think it would be a good idea to advertise PCBG on GameByte in order to get more registered members and to grow the gaming area, but first have to update the site and grow it.

They are busy with revamping the whole pcbg. I remember they said they still do have all the old content in the back end, so it's not like it's lost. This new front end is also just temporary. Like the new front end messed up all the links, even if they are still accessible or not. But they should be fixed with the new pcbg, if it will even contain current posts?

Oh ok well I hope they hurry up and complete revamping because I can't wait anymore   because PcBg is the only forum I am dedicated to I also like the characters around here they pretty crazy
